Nelson Youth Theatre proudly presents one of the all-time great musical comedies - The Producers

The Producers is based on the irrepressible Mel Brooks musical film of the same name and tells the story of a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer, Max Bialystock, and accountant, Leo Bloom, who concoct a scheme to raise thousands of dollars from backers and then put on a flop of a show. With all the money that will be leftover, the pair will be rich!

The annual SOUNDSTAGE end of year variety concert is here again and this year we are heading to New York.

The singing, acting, dance and music students of SOUNDSTAGE will take us on a trip from Nelson to New York performing songs and items inspired by the promise of fame and fortune on the Great White Way. "If you can make it there, you'll make it any where!"

Expect a fast paced variety show featuring musical theatre, pop, rock and jazz numbers performed by singers, guitarists, tap dancers, actors, dancers and multi talented musical theatre performers!
