Look, up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It’s … whatever super power you choose.

With our improv powers combined there are no limits to where we may go at Off the Cuff, Nelson’s monthly improv show.

Using our powers combined we’ll belt out those power ballads, embrace a bit of flower power, use our will power, get a bit shagedelic with Austin Powers or maybe just join Grey Power.

The Brilliant & The Bonkers

A whirlwind talk of the best bits and best-forgotten-about bits of piano history.  Presented by Áine Byrne with Doug Hill on piano.

Silent Movie

Buster delivers his usual repertoire of charming chaos in Go West (1925) as ‘Friendless’, a young vagabond heading west in search of his fortune, accompanied by an unlikely leading lady on screen and the nimble fingered Gabor Tolnay on piano.

Let's be Sense-able ... how many times has your Mum said that to you? Off the Cuff will have a little bit of sense, a little bit of sensibility and a lot of laughs at this months' improv show at the Theatre Royal.

Who knows, we may sense a murder, display some common sense, suffer from sensory overload or simply show our sensitive side.

*All members of Off the Cuff previously performed in the highly successful improv show The Deep End.

Nelson Repertory Theatre presents Curtain Up - the hilarious story of five women who inherit equal shares in a dilapidated theatre and plan to bring it back to life again.

They try various fund-raising schemes but their most ambitious is to hold a concert featuring local talent and a world-famous star who agrees to appear for no fee!

However, their plans go awry and its a race to keep their audience from guessing the truth of the matter.

A fast-paced and very funny comedy.
