It’s a Frozen party!
Frozen 1 and Frozen 2 are undoubtedly two of Disney's greatest animated movies of all time. The soundtrack to the movies is stunning, and while the big songs like 'Let it go' have probably been overplayed in your house, you have to admit they are now classics!
Following a sell-out tour in July 2021, Showcase Entertainment Group, the producers of Dr Seuss's The Cat in the Hat and Madagascar The Musical, are bringing the magic of these songs to Theatre Royal Nelson for the first time in a concert for the young and young at heart.
Let It Go features the sisters Anna and Elsa in full costume, along with some of their popular friends from the Frozen movies. So feel free to dress up as Anna or Elsa... or even Olaf and come and enjoy this wonderful concert production of the songs from Frozen 1 and 2.
Please note this is a 55-minute concert, not a musical or dramatic production. Let It Go is not in any way affiliated or endorsed by Disney.
Nelson Youth Theatre Company presents fantastic fairy tale entertainment for the whole family!
“Be careful what you wish for” is the ongoing theme in this Broadway family favourite musical fairytale world. Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods follows a baker and his wife who wish to have a child, Cinderella who wishes to go to the King’s festival, and Jack (and the beanstalk) who wishes his cow would give some milk.
When the baker and his wife are visited by a wicked witch from next door, she reveals to them that she placed a curse on their family, and the two set off on a journey “into the woods'' to reverse the curse. There we meet Little Red Riding Hood, on her way to visit her grandmother, a wolf who loves tasty little girls, the witch’s daughter Rapunzel, and Cinderella’s and Rapunzel’s princes! By the end, everyone will seem to have gotten their wish and will be preparing to live happily ever after. But will they…?
