A magical illusion and circus spectacular is coming to Nelson. New Zealand’s own Circus of Illusion Magic Show is 90 minutes of fast-paced family entertainment.
Featuring New Zealand’s premiere Illusionist Andre Vegas and Company performing large-scale mind-blowing illusions. From Andre’s classic dove act, appearing a motorcycle, Drop Spike illusion, and as seen on NZ’s Got Talent the ‘Blade’ illusion.
Another highlight, witness the incredible and stunning Andre de Jong and Eve Gordon. A world-class dynamic aerial and acrobatic duo whose breathtaking performances will include adagio, double trapeze and Spanish web. A stunning display of trust, strength, and poetic grace.
Special guest artist, from the Gold Coast, Australia, Joel Fenton. Known as the Cirque Stuntman, see him get sucked inside a giant balloon. With a mix of comedy and audience participation, he will have you on the edge of your seat as he juggles a chainsaw.
New Zealand’s leading female magician, Felicity Rogers, will be weaving magic, puppetry, dance and theatre into her mesmerising original performances. In addition, Felicity will turn the traditional gender roles in ‘magic’ upside down by sawing a man in half!
Kids look out for Felicity’s 10-year-old son Leonardo who will also put in an appearance, presenting his very own illusion in the show.

This year, the Glow Show tells the story of te kāhui whetū o Matariki (the star cluster/whānau of Matariki) as they gather to light up the skies for te tau hou Māori (Māori New Year). But where is the smallest star, Waipuna-a-rangi? Could the little one be lost in the moana?
The Glow Show brings the beautiful Matariki myths to life with its unique puppets, intriguing tamariki wherever it goes.
Delightfully told in te reo Māori and English, the Matariki Glow Show shares themes of whakawhanaungatanga, friendship and togetherness. It offers a truly memorable experience with positive and uplifting messages for tamariki.
