Showtime invites you "across the universe" on a "magical mystery tour" exploring the Beatles' "revolution" in popular music and culture. Employing authentic "Beatle" instruments, amplifiers and costumes, coupled with faithful renditions of your favourite Beatle classics "The Beatles Experience" recreates the spirit of the "Fab Four" in ways that have audiences raving about them "Eight days a week".

Musically, no detail is overlooked to re-create the true sound and excitement of The Beatles, with every song performed totally live and in its original key. Visually, the presentation is as close to the real thing as you can imagine...Close your eyes, could it really be them?

Quality stage outfits range from early Cavern days through to Beatle mania.

The very best of Nayland College Performing Arts will be on stage at the Theatre Royal in celebration of the school's 50th Jubilee year. The evening will feature performances from Dance Company, Concert Band, Girls Choir - Sotto Voce. Boys Choir - AugMENted, Songs from the 2016 School Production 'Annie Get Your Gun' and Jazz Band.

Founded in 1989 by music teachers Glenn Common and Pete Rainey, Smokefree Rockquest has now become a New Zealand institution.

Smokefree Rockquest aims to motivate young musicians to prove their ability and realise the heights they can reach in their music careers, and to encourage their peers to support original New Zealand music.

Take a tour of Scotland's countryside and meet some of its most famous and most elusive inhabitants.'

Celtic Pipe Band bring to the stage the myths and legends of Scotland in their fourth annual stage show. Celtic's shows are known for their blend of traditional and modern music, instruments and dance. The Celtic Pipe Band being the prime entertainment. The NZ Grade 2 Band is joined by its Development band, with almost 50 musicians on stage ranging from 8 years old to 80, for this is powerful music. Helen's Highland Dancers perform traditional dances with a modern flair. With fabulous lighting, projected images, this show is a delight for all the family and anyone with an interest in Scotland, Scottish music and dance.

It's been a year since The Lizard Kings last touched the earth of Nelson in October 2014 as the warm up show for their North Island Tour.

On Saturday 21st November The Theatre Royal will open her regal arms to The Kings for an evening paying homage to the majesty of The Doors' greatest moments, and a celebration of one of the most important bands of our time.

With a repertoire spanning the bands entire career, stunning visual effects and projections, and a blistering live performance to back it all up, its no wonder The LzKs have received high praise indeed from real Doors fans who experienced the last Tour:

Join the NZAB for an afternoon of variety and fun featuring classic and contemporary big band charts. The concert will also feature young local brass sensation Logan Ford.

50% of the concert profits will be donated to the Tasman Music Trust to support the teaching of young musicians in the Tasman district.
