For one night only, Nelson City Council are handing the legendary Theatre Royal stage over to the next generation!
On Saturday 29th of August, the best of Nelson's youth music scene is rocking the stage at the Theatre Royal in Nelson. Building off the wave from the recent Rockquest competitions, expect some legendary performances as the bands lift the bar another notch as they receive mentoring from some of Nelson's most experienced musicians.
Rock the City is a non-competitive youth music showcase, packed with the freshest talent. Seven incredible bands will seize the spotlight, performing their original music to an enthusiastic audience.
Featuring: Recovery, Flipswitch, The Walkers, Holographic, Meatball, Unsupervised and Ace Theory.
This is your chance to experience the energy when raw talent meets a professional stage. The vibe is pure support and community spirit, celebrating the creative talents of our young people.
